Toronto Maple Leafs otti viime yönä 7-3 voiton Ottawa Senatorsista. Ottelun suurimpia tähtiä oli 41-vuotias Joe Thornton, joka keräsi matsissa tehot 1+2=3.

Pistemäärä oli poikkeuksellisen kova Thorntonin ikäiselle veteraanille. Hänestä tuli vanhin pelaaja koko Toronton pitkässä seurahistoriassa, joka pystyi nakuttamaan kolme tehopistettä yhteen matsiin.
