Härski törkytemppu? Tämä puhuttaa NHL:ssä: Connor McDavid telottiin rumasti – ei edes jäähyä

Edmonton Oilersin supertähti Connor McDavid sai yön NHL-kierroksella kohtelua, joka puhuttaa ympäri sarjaa.

Kiekkotaituri telottiin ruman oloisesti laidassa, kun Anaheim Ducksin ruotsalaispakki Hampus Lindholm antoi vastustajalle poikkaria selkään pahassa paikassa. McDavid rojahti tilanteen seurauksena rajun näköisesti laitaan.

Tilanteesta ei tuomittu jäähyä – jälkipyykki on ollut varsinkin Kanadassa rajua. Tapaukseen on ottanut kantaa moni toimittaja sekä kiekkovaikuttaja.

– Tällaista ei voi tapahtua ilman kunnon mellakkaa. Tällaisiin temppuihin pitää reagoida, kirjottaa TSN:n toimittaja Ryan Rishaug.

Samoilla linjoilla on ex-NHL-pelaaja Ray Ferraro, joka kyselee pelaajien turvallisuuden perään.

– Tämä tilanne saa paljon huomiota, koska kyseessä on McDavid. Mutta jokainen pelaaja ansaitsee enemmän NHL:ltä. Tästä pitäisi tulla rangaistus – jokaisella kerralla! Vaarallisin alue jäällä, Ferraro lyttää.

But here’s the real thing with this play for me. It gets a lot of notice, as it should, BC it involves McDavid. But every player deserves better from the league and officials on this dangerous play. Penalty every time ! Most dangerous area on the ice

Sorry for the grainy pic - This was 10x more dangerous than anything that happened to McDavid in LA, this could have been bad. These are the ones that require a major response no matter the situation. This can’t happen without a major ruckus of some sort following.

Never been a guy to call out the refs. Over the years, I spent a lot of evenings drinking with them. But how much of this evidence do you have to see to ask what the deal is when it comes to Connor McDavid? Elbow in the chops last night in L.A, too.
