Yllättävä sopimus: Chicago Blackhawksin farmiseura värväsi kaksinkertaisen Stanley Cup -voittajan

AHL-seura Rockford IceHogs on tehnyt harvinaisen nimekkään pelaajahankinnan.

AHL-seura tiedottaa verkkosivuillaan, että se on päässyt yksivuotiseen sopimukseen konkarihyökkääjä Kris Versteegin kanssa. Kaksinkertainen Stanley Cup -voittaja kiekkoili kuluneella kaudella KHL:ssä sekä SHL:ssä.

32-vuotias Versteeg on pelannut upealla ammattilaisurallaan yli 600 NHL:n runkosarjaottelua sekä lähes 100 pudotuspeliottelua.
